Occupational therapy cooking school is part of the blog dedicated to recipes ideal for occupational therapists to use with their clients. The recipes are simple with extra steps in the method to assist clients with organisation of their ingredients and workspace prior to cooking. The recipes are also suited to beginner cooks, anyone who finds cooking challenging or anyone looking for a simple yet tasty meal! You will find the recipes under their own OT cooking school heading in the recipe index.
As an occupational therapist working with clients with cognitive deficits, I found I was constantly modifying recipes to make them simpler and to make sure the method was easy for my clients to follow. I am hopeful I can build up a collection of recipes in occupational therapy cooking school to be a useful resource for any therapist who engages clients in cooking tasks.
If you are an occupational therapist who has any suggestions about recipes to add in this section or how to make the recipes clearer for your clients I would love to hear from you: firstname.lastname@example.org
