Happy New Year! I don’t know about you but I am in desperate need of a healthy meal plan this week.
Don’t get me wrong I absolutely loved indulging in wonderful food and lots of drinks over the holiday period. There was crayfish and confit salmon on Christmas day, leg ham toasted sandwiches on boxing day, a seafood feast with champagne with my family on New Years eve and fish pie and octopus terrine with my in-laws on a fabulous break away. I could easily do it all again BUT it is the start of a New Year and we should be trying to be a bit healthy right?
Well I am going to give you a helping hand by sharing with you a 7 day Healthy Meal Plan. A meal plan is a great way to make sure you stick to healthy eating – here is one I prepared earlier:
Start the week with a meatless Monday – My Sweet Potato Black Bean Bowls are filled with flavour and goodness.
Fish is on the menu for Tuesday night – if you have never baked fish before why not try my Easy Baked Fish with Tomatoes and Artichokes it really is an easy weeknight meal.
Chicken is always a winner and my Greek Chicken and Eggplant Bowls has so many healthy things in one dish!
Laying off the carbs is a good idea for a healthy meal plan – meat and vege is a great low carb option like my Lamb and Roasted Vegetable Salad
Beef Chilli Taco Bowls are so quick and easy and sure to please the whole family – great for a Friday night in front of the TV!
You can’t have a healthy meal plan without salmon – Salmon Soba Noodles is my ultimate flavour packed healthy dinner.
Why not finish the week off with a dish perfect for guests (or leftovers) – My Baked Moroccan Chicken
Do you have any healthy dishes you have been eating to kick start the year with good food and good health??
